I've got big swaths of yellow St Augustine, as well as healthy looking grass right beside it. Any ideas why some of the St Augstine would be yellow? I don't think it's a fertilizer issue. I use Ammonium Sulfate as a fertilizer. In Richardson if that makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks..Greg

Grubs. June bug grubs more than likely. They’re under there eating the roots.
Get some Grubex.

I hope it works for you.
My yard went from “Yard of the month” in July 2004 to resodding the spring of 2007. I was in Iraq. The wife didn’t know what was going on and never mentioned it to me. I came home in the fall 2005 and it was destroyed. Didn’t recover in 2006 so I roto-tilled the yard and saw all these white grubs with black heads 1 1/2 - 2” long. That’s how I learned about June Bug grubs.
I put down Grubex every year regardless now.

I just treated for both Fungus and Grubs. I don't want to lose my yard this year.
Thanks for the advice!

Sure look to be St Augustine decline, or as others call it Take all/tarr Treat it good. or it will wipe out a lawn.
