Y'all remember a couple weeks ago I was talking about checking the small town butcher and meat markets. I just went to pick up my half a cow of grass fed, free range beef.

Did you miss out on a few details??? Cost? How much meat did you end up with? Do you have pictures of the marbling?

I've been thinking about doing this myself, that's why I'm asking.

Got out the door right at $1800. The freezer just closes. $3.99 a pound.

If the pandemic has had 1 positive outcome it's the utilization of local, mom and pop business.
I bought a new weed eater yesterday.
I could have ordered it online and saved $10 but I spent the money at a small local business and will most likely keep doing this in the future.

Yup. About 150 pounds of lean 80/20 ground beef, many steaks, roasts, fajitas, brisket, soup bones and more.

Where's the beef? Now I know.

And Arby's thought they had the meats.
