Y'all remember a couple weeks ago I was talking about checking the small town butcher and meat markets. I just went to pick up my half a cow of grass fed, free range beef. [Linked Image]

Did you miss out on a few details??? Cost? How much meat did you end up with? Do you have pictures of the marbling?

Got out the door right at $1800. The freezer just closes. $3.99 a pound.

Congratulations.
If the pandemic has had 1 positive outcome it's the utilization of local, mom and pop business.
I bought a new weed eater yesterday.
I could have ordered it online and saved $10 but I spent the money at a small local business and will most likely keep doing this in the future.

Yup. About 150 pounds of lean 80/20 ground beef, many steaks, roasts, fajitas, brisket, soup bones and more.
