Got to take a family out that has never been fishing. Wind was about 10 mph more than forecasted so that made it tough for them to get the grasp of feeling the bite and knowing when to set the hook. Yes, I usually have reports of Stubby and I or most of my customers catching big numbers of fish. Well, you can’t just report the days with lots of fish. You have to post the low ones also. However , despite not limiting out ( they missed well over 100 fish ) the memories made and smiles on the kiddos face meant more than a cooler overfilled with fish. Kinda of a life lesson that memories and good times are of utmost importance. Sure, I was a little disappointed they didn’t limit out, but the smiles overruled that.

Thanks guys. Kinda felt like I failed by then not limiting out. Still getting texts from The Mom and Dad about how much fun they had and the boys are still talking about it. That makes it a success.
