Hello All!!! I was just looking for information on if anyone has done a kayaking trip on the Medina River around Bandera. I had a friend suggest doing a trip there, either getting in at Rangers Crossing or at Tarpley Crossing and getting out around the state park. I am just curious if anyone has done this route and if so, how long it took and if there is anything to be aware of. I would also be interested in info if you fished it how the fishing was and if there is a specific style of lure or bait that i should look into buying for the trip. Thanks for any help!!!!

I've looked at that area a time or two myself. Let us know how it went if you go. So far I've stuck mainly to the Guadalupe but really need to branch out more in the area.
