I have recently moved to the area. Can anyone tell me of any ramps on Canyon Lake that have docks? I am of an age where it is difficult to get in and out of the boat without a dock. Thanks.

Ramp #23 has a good one if the idiots aren't fishing off of it or blocking the entire dock while loading/unloading

Good point. Glad they finally removed the Cessna. It was a real tourist trap. Never saw so many boats back there dodging stumps....

After I read and saw it on the news, my immediate thought was glad they were okay, and they probably didn't have a choice on where to put the plane down, but that was the worst cove on the lake because of all the trees and stumps. That pilot had to thread the needle!

Agreed. When I creeped back to the submerged plane, I looked around at all the things he could have snagged a wing on. I have not read anything from his perspective regarding the crash, but it would be interesting to know how much control he had on descent.
