I have recently moved to the area. Can anyone tell me of any ramps on Canyon Lake that have docks. I am of an age where getting in and out of the boat to launch or trailer up has become difficult without one. Thanks.

Google maps satellite view is great for this. I'm in the same "boat". I need a dock by the ramp.

The Corp of Engineer ramps may have docks, but I believe the parks are closed doe to Corona mania so no access. Cranes Mill Park is closed so ramp 10 in it with a dock is closed. County ramp 2 at Turkey Cove on the south side has a nice ramp and dock and is open.

I was there yesterday morning, before the downpour, scouting the ramps. Ramp #1, the one closest to the dam, was open, with a nice floating dock. The Potters Creek day use ramp is closed. The road is blocked by barricades. Some sort of construction activity in progress. Then there's the new ramp in the Mystic Point area. I believe it is accessed by N. Crane's Mill Road, off 306. It has a nice dock, and is said to be open.

The one at the end of cranes mill rd is #23 by Mystic Shores, Potters creek #21 was still closed due to construction and the virus.

Potters creek has been closed since Feb. (#21)
Cranes Mill is open. (#23, at the end of North Cranes Mill rd.)
Not sure why tx2step is calling it potters creek, but it is cranes mill.

Just to throw in a little more confusion ramp #23 is also the Mystic Shores ramp.

Just one more cast!

Ramp 22 is closest to Canyon Shores, there is not a dock at that ramp and is directly across the cove from #21 at Potters Creek.
