All,

I would like to take my kayaks out night fishing, and was hoping some of you may know some spots on Conroe where the blue cats would be on a map. I know this process is much easier with lowrence, as you can find the schools of bait fish in deep water, but I don’t have one on my kayak. My goal is to go out with shad and perch, anchor down, and fish off bottom for big girls. Any help is appreciated!!!!

This method will work on just about any lake, and that would be to make sure you have a 360* visible white light on your kayak and pick some spots on a map that look promising, such as humps and flats near creek channels, and drift fish instead of anchoring, and thus cover more water.
Be safe, and been seen!

Get on genesismaps.com, a free social mapping site, and you will be able to see some topo map for parts of lake conroe.
Highly likely have coverage where kayakers frequent most.
