Got me some dinner at Waxahachie yesterday. Water temp right at 71. Lots of small fish. Kept 13. 1/4oz jig head. Dark body chartreuse tail plastic. Had to be moving horizontally to get a bite. 12-20 feet of water suspended any where from 4-15 feet Big fish 13.75”. 5 still had remnants of eggs. 2 male fish.

Nice! I’ve been thinking of trying Waxahachie and Bardwell, they’re a lot closer then RC. Was out on Bardwell Saturday night letting my nephew bow fish some. The bridge looked tempting.

I’ve fished Bardwell more than any other lake and after fishing Aquilla it’s just not the same.

GOOD WORK ROD!! Hachie has Quality fish in it! Been fishing it for yrs. but you have to use a different approach between spawn & post spawn to catch em.

Sorry, most fish came from brush. The 3 biggest coming from timber. Brush was loaded with small fish.

Went out last night and caught probably 15 or 20 off brush with only 1 keeper but did manage 7 or 8 other keepers shooting a couple docks.
