My wife asked me yesterday if I would take her and our son fishing for Mother’s Day? I couldn’t help but ask her if this was a trick question?!?

My wife didn’t ask me for that for Mother’s Day, but she does ask me to take her fishing on some of our dates nights. She knows how much I love fishing and she enjoys fishing also but not as much as me. A lot of times she will fish for a while and then chill out on one of the bean bags and just relax.
Make sure you get some good pics of her and Jax and then have it framed for her. It will mean a lot

Bring flowers.
Stash them in the boat ahead of time and then make them magically appear...
The Tom Thumb on Garden Ridge and Main has nice stuff at good prices.

Thanks amigos. She’s a keeper for sure! PB flathead 34.5 lbs - I know it's small but it was still the record for Lake Travis when I caught it!
PB Blue 58.5 lbs jugline 43.5 lbs on R&R which was the other Lake Travis record when caught.

Crusing the lake was the order of the day. I drove over the lake a few times on 35 and it looked like Memorial Day weekend out there!

Ain’t that the truth Dan. We pulled 2 short drifts and caught 4 out of the 7 when we were reeling everything up. No telling how long we were towing those dinks. My wife usually picks East wind days which are more like no wind days. Looks like we got rollers and clouds this week so my son and I will be back out there Wednesday looking for redemption.
