Is there a way to check the status of your own drivers license? My medical card expired on May 4, however, my employer received a letter that we have 60 days from the time the pandemic is over to get our physicals. I just want to be sure.

You should be able to get your physical as soon as your health care provider starts seeing patients. I did mine last week. My license expires end of this month, but we have 60 days after the state opens your local office to renew them... cheers

To ensure commercial drivers are able to continue to work during the national emergency, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration temporarily waived compliance for medical certificates and federal variances (also known as limb or vision waivers) expiring from March 1, 2020 until June 30, 2020. The waiver includes Texas vision and limb waivers. The Department will continue to process medical certificates and limb/vision waiver applications received, and will discontinue the downgrade of CDLs for expired medical certificates or cancellations due to expired waivers. When the Department resumes normal operations, you will be able to renew without any penalty.

That's from the link I provided earlier....you're good.
