I am looking for a company that does fishing rod repairs anywhere around DFW or Terrell, Tawakoni, Lake Fork, Tyler, Sulphur Springs or just anywhere in the DFW or NE Texas area.
I have several older fishing rods that need some love to be functional again and I don’t really have the patience or tools to attempt to do it myself. Some of the rods are missing guides inserts, others need the butt cap replaced on the end of the cork handle, and various other issues like that. I think there’s around 10 rods in total that could use some work, nothing too major or crazy but I would like to be able use them again soon.

So is there nobody in the DFW area or near Lake Fork that can repair or replace guides on fishing rods?

Older thread, but Southwest Marine Electronics in Dallas has a rod/reel repair center.

If you don't mind taking the rods to Weatherford, I know a great guy who repairs and makes custom rods. He does quality work and has all the equipment to do it right. I'm a very satisfied customer. ![[Linked Image]](https://txchlcoach.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Big-John-Card.jpg)

Took my 2 to Fun and Sun this AM. Picks up every Monday between noon and 2PM. Reasonable prices and they have a nice tackle shop to boot,.
