Based on y'all's experience? What is your croaker stocking density in your bait wells? I've got a recirculate system and air bubbles plumbed into both bait wells & plan to use frozen water bottles to keep cool. How many per say 5 gallons of bait well space will stay alive all day?

Maybe a dozen per 5 gallon, depending on the size. No need to use ice..just change out the water now and then. You may want to invest in an O2 system., ran on low setting.

Croaker are running good size now so a dozen max for 5 gallons. The key to keeping bait alive isn't ice, 02 system, etc. It's fresh water. As long as you continously cycle fresh water through you're fine.
You get out of it what you put into it!

Thank you guys for the input. Just out of curiosity, how many shrimp are y'all able to keep in the same scenario? A quart of shrimp will stay alive in a 1 gallon bait bucket all day long if you float that bait bucket in the water. But put them in a 5 gallon bucket in your truck bed and they could be dead before you drive 5 miles to your fishing spot. As stated above, whatever your bait or concentration... keep new water circulating into your livewell.
