I am headed with the Family to Whispering pines for a few days this weekend. I see there is a launch at the property. if anyone has any insight as to fishing in that area I would appreciate the input. It is way out of my comfort zone on Livingston.

I don't even know where that is on Livingston. I see a golf course under that name up there on the far north end white Rock area. Where exactly is it

I have seen plenty of fisherman along the par 3’s on the back 9. It’s more river fishing there.

If it's up White Rock I would be extremely careful. Once you get in the creek itself, it not bad. Trying to find the creek from the lake is the hard part. I grew up on Livingston and went back 10 years later to fish a tournament and it took me an hour to find it. Parts of the lake up north have silted in badly. If you just want to catch some fish on the north end within a few miles of there I can give you some high percentage areas.

One of the golf holes runs right next to the caney creek arm. If your bass fishing fliping will get you bit, always does. Just not sure what the water looks like up there right now. Getting out of Caney creek back into white rock area, u need to know what your doing. i'm sure the mouth is shallow and there is an unmarked boat lane. I am guessing there might be some good white bass action near the island in whiterock and close to the bridge.

Lots of gators in that area. think Dad's creek is where they pulled out a 13' 9" gator 5+ years ago.
