Is the extra money worth it for Tatsu?

Tatsu is kinda like having InvisX and AbrasX in the same line, for the price of both of them together and then some. Just buy the appropriate line for the rod action and presentation. AbrasX for flipping, pitching, timber, rocks. InvisX for open water, clear water, moving baits.

Buy it on sale and it’s worth the extra cost. I’ve had it on my reels for 2 years and it won’t break. I broke sunline the invizix pretty easily.

Fill half your spool with old line backing and half with Tatsu. You just cut the cost in half. You never use the last 75 yards anyway. And if you are braid to leader like I am, the cost is even less per reel.
Less gritchin', more fishin'

Yes, it is absolutely worth it. Buy bulk spools when on sale, I am sure LBF or TW will have Memorial day sales in a couple of weeks. If you like to respool often then Invizx is probably fine, but if you would prefer for your line to last a while and still be strong and castable, then go with Tatsu (or Gamma Edge).

I use invx for all presentations and have had no breakoffs. Except for top water.
