Got into them again this morning. On the water at around 7:00am and had a limit at 10:00. All keepers were on brush today. Didn’t stay on the timber long. They were there but no takers. All caught on 1/4 oz jig with dark blue and chartreuse plastic. Didn’t think to look at water temp. Most were in 10-12’ of water. I think the spawn is just about over. 22 female with signs of depleted eggs and 3 males. Smallest was 11” and biggest was 14.25”. The ramp was a zoo! Took 45 minutes waiting to get to my spot in line.

That is an affirmative there ‘bonz. Much better quality fish and I’m kinda liking the timber.

way to go Rod, I thought really hard about Aquilla but opted for Lake Whitney. Didn't do nearly as good as you but managed 6 quality fish.

do you think your posts and pictures might be the reason you have to wait in line? LOL! I really don’t think I have that kind of influence. But it’s all good. People get to go fishing and try to forget about the covid19 stuff for a while. If they read my posts and know that fish are being caught that’s even better. Come and get some. There are plenty for all. Even if you have to wait it’s worth it.
