Our 1st 5 minutes on the water with Perspective View. Making some quick adjustments on the fly with Gain & Range.
I fish skinny waters from my kayak 5'-3' depth and this little tool will assist me very well in pinpointing just where those pesky little crappies are at. I see this being an asset to the Bass Angler just as well. 360 in the 180-degree forward range in real-time. Get ya one...

Yes, the depth reading is accurate in that I am setting in 3.8' of water. The perspective view does not give you a sense of depth as you see in the forward view.
The objects you see are concrete beams on the bottom of the lake. I am sporting the standard Perspective Mode Mount (solid mount) from Garmin and it is working very well attached to our PoleDucer transducer mounting system.
My thoughts on the perspective view are that it is more of a searching tool for fish and or structure like SI/DI is at the console and you then fish what you found with forward/down view. It is a nice feature and one I will keep.

I updated the 2.33 current version for the GLS10 and updated the 19.00 current version for the GPSMAP 1022/1042/1222/1242 software. Everything is working very well.

That really Is awesome!

The new technology in the last 5 years has changed fishing forever.

I would like to see the returns on bamboo. Concrete is very dense and sends back good returns on most deep finder systems.

Not Bamboo but a brush pile.

Another look at the Garmin Perspective View. Straight out is crappie in a brush pile and a large steel corrugated pipe out to the right.
