There were plenty of mistakes made by the feds that’s no doubt. What you seem to be forgetting and have been swayed by some docu drama is that Koresh was a child molester, he did purchase illegal weapons and he did order his followers to spread accelerant throughout the compound. This was corroborated by survivor accounts and testing. How are you okay with that? And actually not only okay with it but make the statement that they should have killed more federal agents. when the agents opened fire they put into motion that they are fair game i would rather the civilians live i don't believe the made up story about survivors

what would you expect a bunch of cowards & liars to publish? long story short i was trying to buy a 10-22 from Academy i had to fill out FBI paperwork they sent me 2 packages with my name & address in 1 of them was a guy from Bloomington Minn. which included a copy of his birth certificate - DL - finger prints - & SS# i only wanted to send the package back it was a major screw up & the FBI blamed me for opening the package never took any responsibility they are incompetent Butch, other than you posting that you think the Dividians should have killed more federal agents, you may be in err in how to buy a gun. I'm not sure since I DON'T OWN ONE but I have witnessed ONE being bought. The ATF form which you fill out is kept by the store from what I understood and never goes to the feds. If they have a need to search a gun sale they get the serial number and contact the store where the gun was sold to find out who bought it and when. I don't know how you would have gotten 2 packages from the FBI related to that gun sale but whatever. It probably had nothing to do with the gun sale. Believing citizens should kill federal agents even if they were wrongly charged is vile. Nothing precluded the Dividians from doing what most people do when approached by federal authorities. They give themselves up and go through the courts. I don't say this often but I think you are trash. No good, lawless scum. You don't like the agents going to the compound, thats fine but believing a citizen has a right to shoot when they think they are wrongly approached is not how it works. My brother is a retired police office, my wife works with hundreds of them. Your input in saying the Dividians should have been better shots makes you lawless scum. lawless scum i am going to embrace that did your brother drive a tank through somebody's home? did he open fire on a home full of women & children? if you have never bought a weapon how do you know what happens you can believe my experience or not it was a big deal & APD was involved through out You do have to fill out forms if there is a delay or denial, let’s say for example if there is someone out there that has misappropriated you’re identity or parts of your identity information. This is more and more common, especially since that huge VA data breech in the late 90s/early oughts and the massive Equifax breach just a couple years ago.

One of the girls I went school with is married to the guy that was the lead ATF guy during the raid. She brought him to one of our class reunions about 10 years ago. Beforehand she let me know that the raid was off limits to talk about. She told me he didn't/wouldn't talk about it even to her. I had to bite my tongue to keep from being a a$$hole and asking about the raid. I read the whole thread and this is only question I have. I want to know why you would let “one of the girls I went to school with” tell you who you could talk to and what you could talk about? Did she also tell everyone else at reunion who they could talk to and what they could talk about? And why would you be an ahole had you? Was she your mom? Sister? Girlfriend? Your posts makes no sense to me. Which means nothing, just curious.

Yep. Bet you nailed it there! What an Einstein you are. I think machinist can answer for himself if he chooses. If not, ok. But since you decided to step up to the plate, imho, common decency is not applicable here. This was a world event, still being argued about today. And again, did she pre warn everyone, the whole reunion? Your scenario seems stupid to me Caribou. You just wanted to be confrontational.
