If you could choose to live on any lake in Texas, and bass fishing is your main interest, which lake would you choose and why? I'm guessing most would say Lake Fork.
Thank you.

I love it at Lake Fork. Bob Sandlin is another favorite of some clients and friends of mine. Cedar Creek can be a good choice, too. It all depends on what you enjoy doing on and off the lake. I specialize in finding lake homes and land. Let me know if I can be of any help!

I live at Lake Fork and love it. If I had a second choice it would be Falcon or Amistad.

I have a place on (well a few blocks off) Sandlin. Subdivision boat ramp a few blocks away. Sandlin is a very good bass lake. Also good crappie, sand bass and catfish. If I want I can be on Cypress Springs, and Monticello (when it was open) i n less than a half hour (I'm on the south side of the lake so it takes a little longer than you would suspect. Can be on Fork, Tankersly, Winnsboro, Holbrook, Hawkins, Gilmer, Lake of the Pines, Quitman, Welsh, Loan Star and I'm sure I'm missing a few within an hour. That's why we picked Sandlin when we were looking about 12 years ago.

Not much lake front living on either of those two lakes.

If potential for really bad storms and naders wasn’t a factor, and the fact that Okies are starting to claim all the river up to flood level grass, I’d choose Texoma.

If money was no object lake Texoma. More land for your buck on Tawakoni.

And on Tawakoni there's the convenience of your choice of several drive thru meth labs.

Texoma, 90,000 acres, great small mouth and good bass fishing, also great fishing for all other species, about the only downside is not too many places have their own dock, but there are several marinas to store a boat in.

Tough choice. Fishing? Fork. Fishing and recreational? Texoma, Beaver, maybe Table Rock.
