What's going out here? This is the first year I've come into may without catching a fish over 5 pounds. I've been fishing this lake for 10 years and idk I feel like a dummy when my tried N true tactics and spots don't produce anymore..

I have issues finding the larger fish this year too. I havent spent as much time on Palestine this year as I have in the past, but I have been out a couple of times with no real size to speak of.
I really feel like the spotted bass are taking over that lake. We all need to start taking our limit of spots out of that lake each fishing trip.

Same thing that happens to a lot of lakes. There isn't much grass anymore and it gets pounded with pressure.

Is it just me are have all the old bass holes up north filled in with silt. All the map cards show deep impressions where there isn't any.
