Hey guys!

Hope you guys and your families are all doing well & staying safe! Well this is a little unconventional but thought it was too cool not to share! The shad run is in full swing and it's crazy right now down at the river. The shad are so thick it looks like you could be able to walk across the river on the back of them.

Well we tried a new method and channeled our inner Grizzly Bear. We set up at the top of a rapid and started trying to catch them as they ran up with our bare (bear) hands. And I tell ya what it was a blast - definitely recommend giving it a try if you get the opportunity!

Handfishing

Fishing by the use of hands only. The use of any other fishing device while handfishing (including but not limited to gaff, pole hook, trap, spear or stick) is unlawful.
No person may intentionally place a trap (including such devices as boxes, barrels or pipes) in public fresh water for the purpose of taking catfish by handfishing.
May be used to take channel, blue and flathead catfish in fresh water only.
