I can catch them at night but daytime sandbass are hard to find In my case at least? Ok i tore my sideview tranducer off on a stump and have not purchased that new transducer for 300 bucks yet. Lowrance please give us a break on those transducers because Fork takes mine away several times each year. So what is the answer for that?? Not many mounting options on a pontoon boat. On my old Ranger I did not break or tear off near as many, maybe I am just lucky? Any help on locating daytime sandbass is appreciated?

have you looked at getting one of the 'thumpers' available in here. If I was going to fish for sandies I would invest the money for a thumper..
https://www.thegpsstore.com/Transducers-C86.aspx check here for transducers, I found a hard to find one here with great service.
I'll send ya PM on sand bass.... fish

I was fishing for Crappie yesterday at two mile bridge on Tawakoni and a massive school of white bass moved right thru our area. They were herding shad to the top and attacking them. We stayed on them for about 30 minutes before the moved on. I think I caught 24 and only one of them was less than 13 inches. They were a blast to catch.
