Not sure if King_Fisher has been able to keep up with the map, but if so, here's another spot in DFW area.

Woodland Basin Nature center
Access to lower Rowlett Creek. Gets pretty crowded and is super trashed out, but it's easy access to the creek and you can walk up and down it for long stretches.

Hey y'all, I noticed this map has stopped being updated, and I wanted to try and revive it! I created an app that lets communities create maps together, and I put this map on it so it wouldn't die out. Me and my friends have been adding spots around the Dallas area, but we'd love more help from the greater Texas fishing community. You can check it out on the app store here if you're interested in contributing: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pinnit-community-mapping/id1489834449.

I’m not seeing any pins.

new guy here, but my son sent me a link to this map a couple of months ago - and I love it

i'm in Allen - and pulled some LMB out of the neighborhood pond, #260 (near the backside of Top Golf)

I havent caught anything at Bethany Lakes in Allen - but it's only just a matter of time - lots of good options there.

the one pond i'm not a huge fan of is Woodruff Park.....not ideal for bank fishing imo - there's about a 5 ft drop from level ground to the water, with a ton of brush in between. i'm sure there's fish there - just not ideal

hoping to try out some more on the map that I've studied!

@AggieMark - I was at the Woodland Basin this past weekend. Yes, it's highly pressured and super trashed, unfortunately. For our yak folks, this would be a good spot to put in, however.

well - take 260 off your "to do" list........the HOA there which is new, has put up "private pond" fishing signs... i live in the HOA on the other side of the property line, 3/10th of a mile walk from my door to the water's edge......but this morning, a rather militant resident got nasty with me......called me all sorts of names, etc etc

so i left....
