Years ago I ran across a guy at a Fishing Show at the Arlington Convention Center named Byron Nolan. He had a little tackle business named Trolling Nolan’s Tackle Company in Altus, OK. He made custom slabs and I bought a dozen from him. They have been the best slabs I’ve used and I caught 1000’s of bass on them. Now I need more and his website doesn’t work. Anyone know if he is still in business and how I can buy some more of them? Does anyone have any other good slabs they like? I want to support the small business and the TX and OK slab makers are the best. Thanks for any info you may have.

He is not in business anymore due to some health issues. I hear RSR lures are good as well.

I have also bought some killer slabs from Bryon. He is great to work with and if he can he will.
You can also reach him on Facebook.

Check out a local at Texoma. He makes slabs almost identical to the TNT.
