Does anyone know what kind of weeds these are? The top one is like a milky color and the bottom has a cotton consistency on its buds (not looking at the burr). For reference our terrain is rocky with limestone/caliche.

Have them at the back of our property and I want to get rid of them unless they are some sort of beneficial plant.

Top one is something in the evening primrose family. Oenothera species. Beneficial to pollinators.

Bottom fuzzy one isn't clear enough for me to make out structure. I need clearer shots. But you did get a real good picture of the bur clover. Medicago polymorpha.

Sorry my phone camera sucks. Tried taking some better pics. Looking at them now, it seems that they are all the same plant. Some of them have the white fuzzy stuff and some don't.

Rona has gotten me to the point where I am trying to identify everything in my yard.

If you have an Android smartphone, download an app called, Identify This. It will identify the plant as well as give information. It's pretty accurate.

Youโ€™re most welcome. I really enjoy identifying plants... especially during the workweek. Please donโ€™t hesitate to ask me for help if you canโ€™t figure it out on your own.

Here's one for you Kattelyn. Pasture weeds isn't my thing. Buddy sent me this. He lives out in the county between beautiful ETown and Cana and has a bunch. I told him I would ask the master. Those seed heads breakoff very easily.

Little Barley. Tell him to put the seed head on his tongue and say turkey, turkey, turkey.

You do realize grasses are the hardest of all to ID, and my weakest point, right?

Ah well, I need to learn them anyway. Gimme a little bit, I have to dig.
