Sinkey, love the Buzz Bug. What is the attraction to pegging the weight and using a bead that is getting the bites, and also are you using a red bead? Thanks.

The sound when you're lightly popping that bug on the bed. I leave just a little gap between my peg and the weight so it can move just a hair. I normally use red beads, but have used clear ones and black before too. I dont think it matters on the color.

Thanks Sinkey. I have gone back and forth between no bead and loose weight, no bead and pegged weight, to pegged bead and weight to unpegged bead and weight. I like your bead and weight pegged with a small gap to get that added clacking.

I used to use toothpicks but with fluoro I'm a little leery of doing that. If bobber what style?

Looking forward to Friday! Me and a buddy are heading out there. Gonna focus on protected areas early in some veg for that frog bite, been a lot of fun last 3 weeks, then we'll force a swim bait, c-rig and crank on some good current spots hoping for big ones or schools.
If you can't find em wind em.
