It's really getting bad. I just wasn't brought up to fish like that. People will do that and then look at you like you did something wrong and should move. A similar situation happened to me yesterday at Fork. A boat pulled up behind me about 25 yds, which is fine by me, but then the guy threw a spinner bait and it bounced off my boat. I did say something and told him to get his you know what out of here before we have a problem.

Seriously? A guy bounced a spinner bait off your boat? That’s crazy. I’d have thought it was somebody I knew that was just messing with me for fun. I’ve never encountered anything like that.

A few weeks ago I was flippin' up in the flooded trees of a certain East Texas lake. There was no one within sight of me. I felt like I was alone on the lake. Suddenly I hear a motor behind me in the distance. I turned around and saw a boat that was rounding a point and was making a beeline straight for me. The guy didn't slow down until he was almost on me. He told me that he was going to check his trot line and I could leave if I wanted to. turns out that I was fishing almost on top of his trot line that was illegally marked and illegally tagged. I told him he should leave right now and come back when he wouldn't be disturbing another fisherman. At one point he even reached out and pushed my boat away while he ran his illegal trot line. I'm an old crippled guy and all I could do was hurl words at him. Wish I'd of been younger and in better health.

I was on the TM fishing a point and a couple guys ran in on plane, shut down dropped the TM and moved in right between me and the shore. I was within casting distance of the point. I just said, "give me a minute and I will get out of your way" One of the guys said " it's OK we are bass fishing, since your fishing for sand bass, don';t worry about it"

I guess since I was in a Center Console boat they didn't think I was "bass fishing"

Yea, I get that too owning a CC. Like if I'm drop shotting a bridge I must be a crappie fisherman. How many crappie dudes have 8 bait casters around the center console?

Well over the weekend on two occasions I came up on 1) guy with boat surrounded by jug lines and him and 2 others fishing with at least 9 rods.. dead middle of the river. 2) guy and his son ( neighbor I recognize) in a jon boat RIGHT in middle of the channel in a boat cut about 30 yds wide. I could not slow down for 2nd guys or I would have ran aground. First guys I slowly went by, second time wide open baby!

Was crappie fishing a creek one time and dude drives up and say's..."you mean to tell me you have that big nice basscat and your out here crappie fishing?'' WTH is wrong with people....?
