SIL just got the Texas Workforce booklet in the mail today. He is also receiving conflicting instructions and directions on which day to “call-in” for payment. He also received information that prior requested benefits with an accompanying date were paid - of course, the paid benefit amounts were $0.00...

Call your local Texas Workforce Commission, they are much easier to get thru to and can remove most roadblocks once your initial claim has been setup.
