Holy Chit, Batman!! There were probably close to 100 boat trailers at Lavonia today. Parking lot was full and both sides of the road outside the Park was covered with boat trailers. I have never seen that many boats on Lavon before. Ski boats and jet skis everywhere. Fishing boats and kayaks everywhere.

I'm going out on a limb here and say that folks are really getting weary of being locked down.

We caught 3 crappie, 2 sandies, and three channel cat's on crappie jigs. Saw lots of fish on Livescope but they were not holding on timber, they were just swimming around and wouldn't take anything. We could not fish any open water due to the jet skis and ski boats.

One of the cats was about 5-6 lbs and I thought it was going to break my custom made high end Wal Mart $19 Mr. Crappie rod.

All the crappie and at least one, maybe two of the cats were full of eggs.

We talked to several guys at the ramp and none of them had more than a few crappie.

One guy had about a 4-5# black bass. We didn't talk to him, so I don't know what he had we just saw the one fish.

We came out early because of the mad house that was going to be at the end of the day.

The 66 ramp on Hubbard was the same , lined up down the ally to the north and all the way to the gas station.

I did crappie fish , caught one crappie shallow and about 15 hard fighting buffaloes, 2 catfish gave up then went bass fishing

Crappie are apparently not shallow anymore at Hubbard anyway

Sunday, there were far too many ski boats and jet skis around the dam area to be able to fish there. Tuesday may be different, but I doubt it except that the weather may not be all that great,
