Hoping someone can help....I want to catch a few for a fish fry this week. My son is coming over and I'd love to get him on some fish.
I don't have a cast net, but can get some bluegills and use for cut bait. We have kayaks. I'm guessing cats are not in the creeks anymore?

We live a few miles from north end of Eagle Mountain. Open to area lakes just not sure where to start.

Thanks for your help

Mitch

I would check shallow water next to reeds, flooded willows. Bluegill fillets, or whole scaled gills should get you some fish. Good Luck!
