Hoping someone can help....I want to catch a few for a fish fry this week. My son is coming over and I'd love to get him on some fish. I don't have a cast net, but can get some bluegills and use for cut bait. We have kayaks. I'm guessing cats are not in the creeks anymore?
We live a few miles from north end of Eagle Mountain. Open to area lakes just not sure where to start.
Thanks for your help
Mitch
Thank you Lord for the gifts in my life

I would check shallow water next to reeds, flooded willows. Bluegill fillets, or whole scaled gills should get you some fish. Good Luck!
