Need help deciding on what to get. Either a aluminum 10’ or 12’ boat, a bass raider 10e, or a pelican preditor type boat. I’m 6’1”, 230lb with not very good balance. I’m 55yo. Which would be more stable and easier to handle by myself? Which would I feel safer in? Thanks for your opinions.

Personally sir, I would check into the Bass Hunter EX line of boats. They are an amazing little rig that are extremely stable and tough. They will fit in the back of a full size truck and if you use some imagination, can be easier to load than lifting in by hand. I was taking pictures at the Mt. Vernon rodeo a few years back and brought my Bass Hunter EX out there and fished an entire day. It's a perfect little boat for large ponds and small lakes. Bass Hunter EX

As well, they are one piece, unlike the Pelicans which are 2 piece and don't last near as long. Just my

I'm 67 yo and have a Bass Hunter Bass Baby. It is incredibly competent for 1 or 2 fishermen as well as Safe. I've fished it many times with two guys over 200 lbs each. I really don't think you can capsize it. I can load it in and out of my pickup by myself. It also has wheels.
