We had a couple nice Lake Fork limits today. All fish were caught in 20 to 25 ft on jigs and minnows. They seemed to prefer the jig more today.

Nice! So are these fish already spawned out or headed shallow to spawn?

They are all prespawn full of eggs. Spawn seems to be late this year. Fished shallows today and picked up 11 over 10. Last year mid April I could not keep the green trash fish off my bait. We had an unfortunate incident with an older couple today. We were making our way back in to alligator cove. I saw another boat in the back of the cove so I shut down the big motor about 100 yards out. We were going to make a last pass along the north bank and they were fishing the middle of the cove in deeper water. I dropped the troling motor and we eased past them. As we are passing them the lady threw her cork right in front of the boat. Previously she was fishing on the other side. Then the old fart started the jawing. Can't you see she is fishing there? Anyone fishing today knows the lakes were busy. I have never seen the 2 mile Twok ramp as busy as it was. The incident at Fork was uncalled for and could have gotten ugly.
