Hey Guys!

Hoping everyone and their loved ones are doing well. Decided to put together an informational guide to the 3 "best" trout fishing rigs/setups. I think a lot of people think trout fishing can be complicated so they don't give it a shot; but wanted to try to alleviate those "fears" and put together a straight forward guide about the 3 simplest and most effective rigs.

1. Bottom Rig For Powerbait (best for stocked trout)
2. Floating Rig
3. In-line Spinner Rig

I hope this helps and feel free to reach out with questions - or even post your own favorite trout rig! There are a ton out there and I'm always trying to learn more!

Tight lines yall!

Good rigs but bouncing a threaded live dace minnow along the bottom of a stream will out fish all three of those methods

I tie on a small swivel and then clip on a Panther Martin. A fly below a bubble works well too.

best I ever found for consistency is yellow coach dog rooster tail.

4-6# clear with smallest swivel you can tie, 1/16 - 1/4oz. depending on size of fish available.

20 or 22 skeeter on 4# tippet with fly rod next.

bottom bouncer with 2 split shot about 6" apart and 12-18" of leader beyond, 2 lets it drag slower and stays on bottom more. artificial salmon eggs, nymphs etc.

Thanks for posting and making the vid. I am not a fly guy so I throw 4# test with a split shot on a red hook with 2 samon eggs on it. Let it free float in moving current until I find how they are setting up. If I find they are in holes I will go to a larger split shot or lead swivel sinker.
