If you're happy with it and it's working for you stick with it. If you're just looking to try something else I've been using the Suffix 832 for the last year and a half and really like it.

I like braid when I'm on a boat and jigging piles. Can't stand it when I'm on the bank and casting or pitching

I’ve been using PPSS 15lb. I’m going to the 20lb next time. I’ve had problems with the thin line pulling through the small gap of the hook eye. Has anyone else had this problem. I use a loop knot.

Sufix 832, 20# w/ fluoro leader. Learn to tie the Alberto knot, there are several good videos on YouTube. If you're shooting docks Sufix Elite 8# hi vis works well. Tough and manageable.

I haven’t found anything better than the power pro super slick. I use 20lb though. Been hearing a lot of good about the K9 line. Might be something to look into.

You cant use a loop knot, you have to use a palomar knot with braid

Use your pliers to squeeze the gap shut and get after it.

Sure you can, it's the only knot I use.
