I am looking to switch to Oakley, because of comfort and fit with or without wearing a hat. Looking at getting a pair of split shots to leave in the boat and pair of Flak 2.0 XL for driving and everyday. What are the best lenses for sight fishing and another for all purpose? I appreciate any and all help in advance.
Thank You,
Brian

I’ve got Prizm bronze lenses that are phenomenal in all conditions. Work great in low light and bright skies. GREAT for sight fishing. So much so that I almost never wear my Costas.
If you can't find em wind em.

Thanks!! Is bronze the same as the tungsten? Seems like maybe the newer version but looks to be the same in color. My lenses are 2 years old.

I have the Oakley fishing specific bronze. I bought them specifically for sight fishing trout on my Arkansas fishing trips. I am not impressed. Maybe it is me but I would not spend that kind of money on them. Nothing special.
GOD is good!

i like my shallow water prizm lenses. Also have green 580g costas but the fantail frames i have press on my pressure points after a few hours. Oakley droppoints are more comfortable for all day.

I like the shallow water for fishing. I have Oakley black polarized for everyday use. I do have a set of clear and yellow lenses from another vendor that I use for shooting and other activities. I was switching back and forth too much and just decided to get another Flak Jacket frame to have two sets - one for everyday and one for sport specific. In my experience unless they do swimming or you sit on them the flak jackets frames are really durable. Before they switch styles and they discontinue that model stock up on a couple of sets of the rubber parts.

The Flak™ 2.0 XL w/ Prizm black polarized are my daily wear glasses. Might try a pair w/ Prizm deep water polarized lenses and see how they work. Just ordered a pair to try!

I use to work at Oakley for a couple years and know a lot about the brand. Deep water would probably be your best bet if you are wanting to have one pair. If not, what Bigdozer and fishinok said I agree with! I haven’t used the shallow water lenses yet but I would only use them in low light conditions like cloudy days. The shallow water let in a lot more light then the deep water prisms.

I’ve been an Oakley guy for like 20 years now. I really miss the monster dogs... but I’m a Flak Jacket XLJ guy and have been for a while now. For everyday use, I like the black iridium or blue iridium lenses. For on the water the shallow blue was always a good lens but I’m wanting to try the new prizm lens
