Is that the carbon fiber 3M vinyl? I have a couple yards left from my sons car. Maybe I’ll try and use it for something.

I have been thinking about using some of that to cover the Chrome in the interior of my wife's F-150.

She hates the glare off it from the Sun. bannana2

You're going to cause heat damage to the screen of the unit if that sun-cover is on the unit out in bright sun - whether the unit is on or off. The screen is the most delicate part of your unit, and you're going to fry it eventually. There's a reason Lowrance didn't make them graphite colored to begin with.

Thanks for the heads up.

Has anyone with a Humminbird had any issues such as this being that the graph comes with black covers? Or does being rubber help to avoid this?
