He was a three time failed revolutionary wanna be who was Fidel Castro's pet project.

Interesting guy. Never used profanity, so that was about as strong a message as the General would send. German officers did not understand, so another American officer explained NUTS to them using much more colorful language.

I'm paraphrasing;

War isn't hell, war is war and hell is hell.
