Basically.

I've recovered enough of my own combos, days later, and those that people asked me to recover, that I can legitimately give a good estimate on how long they've been under.

Now once you get past about 14 days... Water temp, depth, turbitity, quality of the build and material of the combo etc etc factor in. If they are in salt, all bets off.

This one has been under for about a week. May have been lost last weekend is my guess.
