Every boat ramp, and most of the bank, was covered up this weekend at all the lakes I visited. Many of those people were not practicing social distancing. Just an observation. I think people are tired of being shut in. Lots of people appeared to be trying to fish for the first time. I caught carp, buffalo, yellow bass, and largemouth, between the storms.

That's why I'm avoiding the lakes right now! The fish will still be there in February when this is over.....just an observation.

February...there is no way I can make it to February without fishing. I will come up with self contained breathing apparatus suit before I stop fishing. hooked

the last 3 weeks has been chaos on Tawakoni. The 2mi bridge boat ramps have both been almost full capacity everytime I have been there. Cypress Springs has been hit or miss... busy one day, vacant the next. I love the vacant days.

I only fish week days since I'm retired and avoid weekend crowds. Since this covid-19, the week days have been too busy at ramps for me. Hopefully it will be better sometime in May or June.

We took the kayaks out again. Loads of people at the lake, and lots of boats. Fortunately, when you're in a kayak, people are at least six feet away from you.

They are crowding the rivers and any other access also.

PB flathead 34.5 lbs - I know it's small but it was still the record for Lake Travis when I caught it!
PB Blue 58.5 lbs jugline 43.5 lbs on R&R which was the other Lake Travis record when caught.

I'll sure be glad when everyone gets back to work so we retirees can have the outdoors all to ourselves during the week like it was before the flu scam.

Was out on Saturday and very few boats. Lots of folks fishing from the banks.

It sucks! I'm really fortunate and glad that I am still employed and am working normal hours but these lakes are getting pounded!! I can only go on the weekend or in the evenings and they are packed! I've had the same experience as well, seeing loads of people fishing from the bank and playing in the parks at the ramps.

Thats my money fish

I'm with you deucer. Just got back from checking the closet ramp to me and it is pack with boat and trailers AND had just about the same amount of cars and trucks in the lot with no trailer behind them.

Crowds will slack off some when it starts getting hot.
