went yesterday and fished about 100 yards down from the gun range. fish are still there but it isn't as hot as it should be. was using the usual rooster tails and then switched it up to cut up ghost minnows. guy next to me was catching fish every few minutes on the ghost minnows and he loaned me some.

Never fished this creek before--I assume it is technically not legal by the likes of your comment. Do cops patrol this creek heavily?

Saw the game warden on Sunday. They issued tickets for cast netting in the river and was checking licenses.

Cast-netting in the river isn't illegal. Keeping game fish is. They probably observed and cited folks keeping white bass caught with a cast net.
