I haven't been able to go fish for a few weeks and it is driving me nuts. Was headed to Hubbard this weekend. Any news on how it is fishing? I expect the spawn is done but i can't see them on the beds any how.
Thanks Warren

It’s been a zoo, hopefully Lavon will be done draining soon and the weather will stabilize so fishing improves

I went out today for 2 hours caught 5, biggest was 6ish and had 3 more keepers between 2.5 and 4 pounds.
3 of the 5 were prespawn fish

Doug, I am glad someone had better luck or skills to catch some on old Mother Hubbard. Some days you find them and some days you don't. So they are in all 3 stages of spawn still. This wierd weather must have them confused or uncertain at least.

It’s fishing well if you know how to fish it. Went out last Saturday morning and caught 25 or so but couldn’t find any size. Biggest around 3lbs with a lot of dinker males. Yes, they’re in all 3 stages

This wierd weather must have them confused or uncertain at least. My biggest yesterday evening was 100% pre spawn. Today I caught one a little over 5 that had a healing tail and was 12 feet of water off a point. I also caught a couple on beds today and saw quite a few cruisers. So I would say yes they are in all 3 stages...
