Going out to eagle mnt today for sand bass. Any reports of sandies schooling around the points? I guess they are back in the lake from the spawn by now?? Thanks for any help. I will give a report when I get back.

Spawn is not over, but can be caught in the main lakes and up the rivers and creeks.

I went this Saturday Eve and last Friday Eve. Birds led me to topwater schooling off main lake points. They have been moving fast but there is good number of fish below the surface feeders. Biggest sandies ive seen on EM in years females up to 17" full of eggs. Many 14-16"ers. Smaller baits did better boat club to crest point.

Better than why I have done. I went Sunday mid morning and nada. I did mark a lot of something off of Crest Point but no takers.

My son and I went out on EM last night. Caught a limit in 45 min. The sand bass are bigger than I have seen in years.

Wife and kids went out last night as well - 50 sandies in 30 min. They are HUGE. rarely caught any under 12-13in.. They had the bait pushed up pretty shallow and were schooling in 6-10 feet of water around 7:30pm
