Planning on heading out to cedar creek on Saturday to do some crappie fishing and try to stock the freezer. How has the bite been? Are they on docks, the bridges, still shallow? Haven’t been crappie fishing in quite some time. So any tricks or tips would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Boat docks and shallow brush is the ticket I’m hearing. Headed down now to do some myself.

You'll need to focus on docks and shallow brush. Bring a good attitude because you're going to need it.

Thanks for the info. Any particular jig color you are using? Or is it live bait?

Caught 15 with 8 keepers on docks. Cloud over hurt us. Only fished for 2 hours before the rain started
