They are still shallow...
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

I went out Friday before the front hoping they would be fired up before it hit. They were biting but not as fast as I was expecting. Started off fishing 1-3’ deep and caught small blues, channels, and a mud cat. Left and went graphing and found a better group in 13-15’ and they were all 4-5 pounders. No big fish. Once the front hit the bite stopped and I left. Ended up catching 30 I think. Hard to keep track of how many when several rods go down at the same time. Haha

That is for you to figure out. I am not about to start giving out my fishing locations. But I have talked to several people and they have been on the shallow bite also and they are fishing a totally different part of the lake than me. Let the wind blow from the same direction for at least a day and then go position yourself on a shallow area that the wind is blowing into it. Try it for about 20 minutes and if nothing happening there move and try a new area. Sometimes it takes a while to find some.
