Without the weekly tournaments, I've haven't seen or heard of many reports coming from Brownwood. I assume the spawn is mostly over but was curious how the lake was fishing lately. There must be a shad spawn happening cause I got millions of fry circling my dock. I'll be out on the next couple of days and will report back my findings.

My parents have a house and dock on Brownwood they purchased recently. The boat is in preparation to be moved down and housed on the dock. They have been down there every other weekend for the past 2 1/2 months. I cant speak to the bass catch though I can state that last weekend they caught over 100 crappie (keepers) over the three days that they were there from the dock. So though I cant speak to the bass bite, the crappie are ON.
