Fished several creeks and rivers this past week and found some NICE Redear. Caught six over 10". Also caught a few nice Bluegill in the 9" inch range along with a couple of 9" plus Rios. I saw a lot of Redear on nest and was able to pitch the "Bait of Champions" Worms, right on their nest. It took awhile, along with a few pitches before any of them would bite. When they did the fight was on! The spawn is on in certain water bodies. Got a feeling that the sunnies will be spawning several times this year. All fish were released and were all back on their nest. Catching some nice spring time fish. It just don't get any better!

That’s the deal. Redears are a great resource to have in a river/creek! They keep the parasites down!

Love them Red ear they fillet out like a crappie. Cant wait to get on some but has been pretty chilly up here lately.
