I am mounting a new TM on my freshly repaired nose. Was wondering if any of you guys know of something to put under the TM, to keep from scratching up the glass? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could use a piece of 1/8 inch closed-cell (doesn't absorb water) foam gasket razor-cut to size. I just bought 12 x 48 inch on Amazon for $10 or so.
Put foam on a piece of plywood or heavy cardboard, set bracket on, trim edge with a razor blade.

Don't you have rubber insulators under the troll motor where the bolts go thru?

I used the rubber insulators that MotorGuide uses but they are known to have some problems staying in place in rough water, so I cut the round part completely off and used 1/4 x 20 stainless bolts with stainless fender washers and nuts on the underside of the deck. The mount on trolling motor may need to be shimmed level if your deck isn't flat or it can put the mounting plate in a bind and the trolling motor won't release and stow properly.

I did the same thing. Added a couple rubber shim’s in one corner to make it set level. Worked great!

I did almost the same with my Tracker since the mount holes were already the large size for those isolators. I just cut off the threaded insert and left most of the stem to fill the holes.

I bought some livestock trailer rubber floor, 1/4" thick and solid so you can torque the bolts good.

atwoods sells it by the foot, think it was about 5.00 or so.
