So I tried searching with no luck, what weather app are you using? Going from a google phone to a Samsung and evidently I was spoiled with the google. I can't find one that includes hourly winds in the forecast or able to look past 12hrs.

storm shield, sends warnings to the phone and has great radar

radar now, the best radar, nws style.

windytv for wind, long range forecast, the wind map is pretty good. also has live lightning strike info.

The Weather Channel app, Radar Now, and Wind Alert are the ones I use. Looking at all 3 gives you a pretty good idea of whats going on.

I use Windfinder and find it pretty accurate.

Weather Channel app is absolute garbage. They can’t even get the next day’s forecast right half the time and they want me to purchase the premium version? HAH. It’s been wrong so many times I ended up deleting it.

If you can't find em wind em.

I use Weather-Bug on my Samsung. Has alerts and lighting strike distance with a decent radar.

Windfinder and WeatherBug are what I use the most

Windfinder--most accurate wind and temp/air pressure forecasts (maybe add 5mph on some lakes) good interface

WeatherBug--good radar, has a lightning strike proximity indicator called "spark" very helpful if there is a storm approaching.

Dark Sky. It has all you need in one place, plus half the other apps use its data for their own, the other half are the ones that are garbage.

For wind, I use windalert, it by far seems to be the most accurate. Otherwise, just double the mph you see on the normal weather apps.
