I have a Shimano Stradic CI4+ ($230), and these two reels are very similar even though they are different brands. I now have 4 of the Fuegos, and I've never had a problem with any of them. SuperSpookJr Outdoorsman S Joined: May 2014 Posts: 77	Shimano Stradic Ci4 30 for me, too. Also have had success with the Abu Garcia Revo. I prefer pairing them with a ML 7' rod. No sharp hookset required, just a steady, sweeping motion to one side.

I have just recently started using spinning rigs (hate them but they are another tool).
