My wife occasionally goes fishing with me and has zero patience. Usually within about 10 minutes she’s done as far as fishing. Sometimes if we’re fishing the power plant lakes near the house I’ll put rod with Bait on a circle hook in a rod holder by her- if a redfish hits it usually hooks itself, and usually in the lip
I was thinking about trying it with a plastic worm for bass. She could still play on her phone and might catch a fish or two dragging it on the bottom with a light weight.
Anybody try circle hooks with soft plastics for bass?

Works great with a wacky worm setup.
