ABSOLUITELY. GREAT BAIT, but throw it on 20# test. LOL. I still have about 8 or 10 of those baits stuck back in my secret box of baits. LOTS of fish caught on them, too.

the old poes are good uns. the flat surface area on the head displaces more water than most others.

Some of them are "special", some were just plain junk. Early on they were made very well and ran true, later they had issues that at times made them virtually untunable. Hopefully, you have one of the good ones.

Poe’s RC3 was the best crank I ever used. The action was true and it lured the biggies like no other!!

Just dug out 3 of the Poe's RC-1's he won the Classic on in 1990. They are fish catchers but I have a hard time throwing them. I also found three like you posted. They'll get some use. Like posted earlier, a couple of years after the Classic they became junk. Literally the worst crankbait I have ever seen. You could not tune them. I thought with enough work they could be tuned. Wrong....
